Color disclaimer

We use genuine leather in all our shoes but the nature of leather means that each hide will marginally vary from the next. All photographs are for representation purpose and we do our absolute best to bring out the true colour of the product that you have ordered but it still may have slight colour variations from the end product.

We use an “all over print” design for most of our products and the positioning of artwork may sometimes be different from what is displayed in the images.

Shoe Care

Wearing a pair of handmade shoes is a conscious choice for someone who values craft, history, time and tradition. We at Banjaaran, translate these values to our shoes- crafted using artisan production techniques handed down to generations. To increase the longevity of handcrafted shoes, it is imperative that proper care is taken to maintain them.

Methodical care can cause a shoe to age well and actually look better over time. But proper shoe care is about more than appearance and can double the lifespan of your Banjaaran shoes.

Steps to take care of leather shoes:

  1. Remove dirt with a brush or damp rug. Wait until dry.
  2. Remove the dirt along the edges of the sole and shoe’s edges.
  3. Apply polish in small circles and in small amounts.
  4. Fold a shine cloth into quarters and gently rub around the shoe.

Steps to take care of fabric shoes:

  1. Lightly brush away dirt and debris using a light colored horsehair or soft nylon brush.
  2. Gently wipe with a damp lint free cloth.

While storing the shoe, insert shoe tree to help maintain the shape of the shoe.
